Call for Abstracts, DCS Handbook on Corrections and Sentencing, Volume 12.

We invite abstracts for the 12th edition of the Division on Corrections & Sentencing’s Handbook series. This edition, titled Handbook on Corrections & Sentencing Methods, will be a comprehensive volume on methods and methodologies for studying correctional services and sentencing. The editors seek contributions in the form of empirical and theoretical essays that address all areas of methodologies and methods for doing research in correctional and sentencing spaces.

Abstracts are due by February 28th, 2026, with full papers due by August 15th, 2026.

Anticipated Timeline

· Abstracts due by February 28th, 2026
· Notification regarding abstracts by March 31st, 2026
· Full papers due no later than August 15th, 2026
· Review of paper submissions August-October 2026
· Notification of revisions to authors by October 15th, 2026
· Revisions due by December 1st, 2026
