The World is Your Oyster: International Development Research
Dr. Wilks’ work knows no bounds – literally. As a public management specialist at the InterAmerican Development Bank, he works with government authorities throughout Latin American and the Caribbean to create innovative solutions to development challenges. Prior to his work with IADB, he was the Manager of Program and Policy Evaluation within the Ministry of National Security in Jamaica. He’s also worked on projects in Ethiopia, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Honduras, and Nigeria. We’re excited for Dr. Wilks to talk to us about what research in international spaces looks like, how he’s working to shape and mold research in this space, and what it means to translate American positionality into international research. Join Dr. Wilks and learn more about how the world is your research oyster.
