This award was established in 2019 to acknowledge exceptional research in corrections. The award is named in honor of Benjamin Steiner, an outstanding scholar and longstanding member of DCS. Donations go to supporting the Ben Steiner Excellence in Corrections Student Paper Award, an award given to a student member in recognition of the most outstanding student research paper. Tax-deductible donations can be made to the fund. All donations will be acknowledged on the DCS website. Donors may also pledge anonymous gifts.
