With our conference fast approaching, I wanted to send an email with a few announcements and updates.
First, we are still seeking sponsors. If you think your university would be able to sponsor our division, we would greatly appreciate it. The sponsorships go towards the breakfast, the social, and student awards. I have attached the form below.
Second, speaking of our events… our social will be held off site this year at the Max Lager’s Woodfire Grill & Brewery on Wednesday November 17th from 5-6:30pm. It is the same place we held our social in 2018 and is located a short distance from the hotel at 320 Peachtree St NE. Atlanta, GA 30308. We hope to see you there.
The business meeting/breakfast will be held Thursday November 18th from 7:30-9:20am. We will use this time to highlight our sponsors, celebrate our award winners, and hear from both NIJ and BJS about their current priorities. The breakfast is nearly sold out so please purchase a ticket if you have not already done so.

Lastly, we need more book donations for our book raffle. If you have authored a book in the last few years and would be willing to donate a copy, please let us know!
